Palringo Instant Messenger

This Free Application is truly outstanding. It can run in the background (sort-of) with other tasks, it rarely crashes, it runs many different instant messaging services (MSN specifically), and it's pretty!

I've uploaded some photos of the App from the home screen, all the way to messaging your friends.

This program is very user friendly and I especially like how well it works with multiple windows. There are advertisements within chat boxes, but for a free application, how can you complain? We're all trying to make a buck.

This program allows text, picture and even voice messaging! By uploading your content to the Palringo server, your recipient will receive a temporary link. This is super for fun concerts and general debauchery!

It takes about 30 seconds to load my large contact list (about 150), and it takes about 5 seconds for a message to be received on a computer.

There is a lot of spamming MSN accounts that harass me when I use this program. Unsolicited spam manages to send messages. Not often, but it's kind of lame.

The cons of this software are in the battery life. I noticed a sharp performance decline when running this program. All in all I don't mind since it's constantly charging anyways. Another problem is that it doesn't run in the background (like all iphone apps), this means when you close it, theres no notification you've received a message, even though you remain online.
